Beyond the Job: The Sales Team

Today we’re featuring Mike Schaefer, Sales Director here at Shiftgig. Mike has been with the company for about a year and a half and is empowered by the fact that Shiftgig is transforming an industry saying, “We’re helping people earn additional income that they may not have earned otherwise, while at the same time, helping businesses become more efficient in their workforce.”  

Mike first fell in love with sales when he realized he could help people solve their problems. He also wanted a job that compensated him for the work that he put in — making sales a natural fit.

In Mike’s opinion, the sales team has one of the toughest jobs at Shiftgig. They have to ask really good questions that get businesses to think larger than they would normally. According to Mike, it takes someone who is thick-skinned and naturally curious to succeed in this role.
